SPL Fanzone: St Mirren

OUR unbeaten record against Rangers finally came to an end on Saturday.

It would have been terrific to make it through the whole season without losing to them but, after conceding yet another early goal, that was never likely to happen – and things could have been worse if they’d scored all the penalties they’d been given.

For once, we find ourselves out of the relegation battle and with a relatively stress-free finish to the season. There’s still plenty to play for though – we’re on target for our best ever SPL finish and could even end up seventh, which be a huge boost to our coffers for next season.

We also have a rare chance to blood some youngsters and it would be nice to see the likes of Jason Naismith and Thomas Reilly get their chance before the end of the season.
