SPL Fanzone: Kilmarnock

The same guy who masterminded the absolute tonking of a far better side (in monetary terms and on paper) for all but ten minutes of the game on Saturday contributed to our failure to hold on to a half-time three-goal lead.

That’s just the way I see it. I was delighted by the performance of our players, but I felt the lack of substitutions was the main contributory factor to our defensive capitulation. And there’s only one man responsible… sorry Kenny. That said, how many Killie managers have been adept enough to face similar quandaries against one of the Old Firm? Tired legs after a blistering performance resulted in a lack of composure in the latter stages and that, in turn, led to us launching into some badly-timed challenges and the resultant free-kicks cost us dear. Let’s keep backing the team and we’ll have far more good days than bad, I’m sure.
