SPL Fanzone: Kilmarnock

WHAT an enjoyable last day of the season that was. The sun was out in Dunfermline and the blue and white army were mobilised in large numbers, so much so that the Pars were simply not ready for us and had to open another stand in the stadium. The match didn’t go to plan early on, with the hosts taking the lead, but Liam Kelly struck to pull us level and debutant Jude Winchester, impressive alongside fellow youngsters Johnson and Barbour, snatched all three points for us in the dying seconds.

Couple that with the news filtering through that Airdrie had dumped Ayr down a division and it all made for a pretty decent day out!

Hopefully the chairman will now find the cash to offer Kenny Shiels a contract that lasts at least a couple of years to give him some security as he goes about building our team for the future.
