SPL Fanzone: Inverness CT

Not only is Terry Butcher at a loss as to what happened in Perth last Saturday but the fans, too, were amazed at how poor we played. There seemed to be no motivation and the impression of a lack-lustre approach was clear to see. We, the fans, came away thinking we are a lower league team unable to compete with the big boys.

We have some good individual players in the squad but we still don’t have a team. We lack direction on the park. We lack motivation on the park. We lack a captain that can motivate. Nobody was committing to the tackle and challenging in the air was practically non-existent. Nobody was moving or running in an attempt to create anything and our final ball was nearly always awful. We can and have played better but, on this showing, the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to flicker.
