IT WOULD have been a travesty if Dunfermline had not got something from this game. We got out of jail with a point.

By the time we took the lead, the Pars should have been out of sight. After last week’s dire performance in Perth we were expecting better but it wasn’t to be. Once again, too many players were completely anonymous and our captain lacked that all-important on-the-park leadership. Tactically we were awful. Long hoof, after long hoof. No ideas, no nothing. What was the deal with that formation? It was just bizarre. There’s a staleness to the team right now and they need new ideas – desperately. The current tactical set-up absolutely does not work with these players. The only plus side is that we are not adrift at the bottom (yet). If performances don’t improve during our next four fixtures, we soon will be.
