Richie Foran has faced criticsim in the past but, over the last few weeks, he has become an inspiration to the side – a true captain. It’s also a credit to every member of the squad that Terry Butcher can now rely on any of them to come in and get the job done and to do so without changing the system too much.

It may actually prove to be a huge plus as we now chase a top-six slot because we should have the confidence to be able to keep on changing and keep the opposition guessing week on week. Unbeaten runs also fuel confidence and Hearts were on one of those, too, so this victory was no mean feat. Keeping consecutive clean sheets in the league was also pleasing.
