SPL fanzone: Dundee United

In RECENT times, United have seemed to struggle after an international break. Whether this is because manager Peter Houston is away with the Scotland squad is open for debate and, with our forthcoming match being against Rangers, there is a every chance this discussion will re-open.

It pleasing to see David Goodwillie getting a deserved opportunity at international level. Although Goodie is no longer a United player, seeing a player who developed through our youth ranks and who earned his opportunity makes us fans extremely proud. Goodwillie worked hard to get to where he is now and perhaps some of the young promising players at Tannadice should take take note of this rather than expect it all to be laid out on a plate for them.
