SPL Fanzone: Dundee United

SATURDAY’S scoreless draw with St Johnstone wouldn’t normally have been something to shout about but, given the number of goals United had been shipping of late, keeping our first clean sheet at home this season was certainly a positive, espeically as Saints have been finding the net more regularly this season.

It was also interesting to see young midfielder Scott Allan back playing after it appeared he was dropped from the first team after contract negotiations had broken down. Peter Houston certainly felt his agent had given him bad advice and he was reported to be interesting Celtic. There is no doubt that Allan has talent and, while the club is struggling, there is certainly an argument for Allans inclusion.
