SO SATURDAY’S win against the Pars eased the “pressure” on Peter Houston. But who exactly was putting on this pressure?

Much like the statement released by the club on Sunday, Houston has the backing of the vast majority of supporters, who are well aware that this season is very much a transition period as we continue to blood some of our very promising youngsters. Hopefully this will put to bed what most fans saw as a media-induced frenzy.

While a lot has been made of an alleged strain on the relationship between manager and chairman, recent poor results may have actually have been positive as they forced a much-needed clear-the-air meeting, the outcome of which will, hopefully, get the club moving back in the right direction.
