SPL Fanzone: Dundee United

IT SEEMS United always have a bogey team from the bottom six. In seasons past, it was Gretna or Hamilton Accies, and this season it has been Aberdeen.

United had been on a great run of league form and although it had to come to an end at some point, losing on Saturday in front of a bumper away crowd at Pittodrie was disappointing.

United were never really at the races, although other results meant the defeat wasn’t a disaster.

Manager Peter Houston and his players now have two weeks to regroup before the post-split fixtures begin.

All five games are cup finals and United need to be at their best if they are to qualify for Europe.
