SPL Fanzone: Aberdeen

A GOOD win on Saturday over our old friends from Dundee took us above them in the table for the first time in what seems like an age, with the Old Firm back-to-back looming on the horizon.

Consistency of selection proved key, and it was pleasing to see that the unwelcome international break didn’t halt the momentum gained from our demolition of Dunfermline more than two weeks before. It proved to be three set pieces which saw us take the points, not something you’d necessarily expect against United. There was another bullish display from the mammoth Isaac Osbourne, something sorely missing from our midfield in recent times. We head to Parkhead filled with hope rather than expectation, but another catastrophic surrender seems unlikely.
