SPL Fanzone: Aberdeen

Parkhead on Sunday brought another encouraging performance, even if the result didn’t go quite the way we would have liked. M

Memories of nine goals meekly conceded at the same venue last year were soon put to the back of our minds by a sturdy display, again characterised by the strength of Isaac Osbourne and Kari Arnason in our midfield engine room. A little more belief once Ryan Jack scored his superb equaliser and we may have been in a position to garner at least a point from the game.

Defeat should never be cause for celebration, but given the impotent performances seen against Celtic in the last year or so, it was encouraging to see more evidence that this year’s vintage are made of stronger stuff.
