The game at the weekend had just about everything that’s required for a cup tie and, thanks to Rory Fallon, we now have another trip to Hampden to savour. After his declaration that we weren’t scoring enough goals, he took it upon himself to address it and could not have picked a better moment.

Special mention also to the support. From the display at the start to the celebrations at the end, it was a performance to match that on the field. Almost a perfect day marred only by the injury to Fraser Fyvie. Let’s hope he can make a speedy recovery and return to the centre of the midfield.
