SPFL to probe Celtic over fans '˜pro-IRA chants' - reports

The SPFL are set to investigate Celtic for alleged pro-IRA chanting from fans during a recent away match at Hamilton, according to reports.

The Daily Record today revealed that the match delegate’s report included a reference to “sustained” pro-IRA chanting from the away fans in attendance.

Although, a full investigation won’t be launched until after it is discussed at the next SPFL board meeting which won’t take place until a week on Wednesday.

Celtic drew the match 1-1. Eamonn Brophy cancelled out Leigh Griffiths’ opener after Dedryck Boyata was sent off.
