Shunsuke Nakamura scores sensational last-minute goal
FORMER Celtic favourite Shunsuke Nakamura is still going strong at the age of 37, after netting a last-minute equaliser for Yokohama F. Marinos against Gamba Osaka.
The midfielder, who is still revered in the east end of Glasgow thanks to ‘that’ goal against Manchester United, curled a wonderful effort over the wall and past Masaaki Higashiguchi in the Osaka goal, who could only watch the ball into the back of the net.
Gamba Osaka had taken the lead after five minutes through Patric, before Takashi Usami made it 2-0 with just over 20 minutes remaining.
But Ademilson pulled one back for Yokohama on 83 minutes, before Nakamura’s sensational free-kick in the fourth minute of added time.
