Shiels seeks fresh zest

Manager Kenny Shiels will demand that his Kilmarnock players entertain their fans in tomorrow’s SPL clash with Dunfermline at Rugby Park.

Kilmarnock’s unbeaten run, which has brought them plaudits aplenty, came to an end with their 2-1 defeat at Inverness in their last outing before the international break.

However, Shiels is confident that his side will bounce back against the newly-promoted Fife side with a good performance at least.

“Entertainment is a word which is used a lot with Kilmarnock games,” said Shiels.

“We don’t do boring games and everyone can see that. The Inverness defeat was still an entertaining game. We don’t expect an entertaining game, we demand it from our players.”
