Scottish football authorities release key fixture date information - but change made on timings
Scheduled for all four leagues to be unveiled during World Cup
The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) has confirmed that fixtures for the 2026/27 season will be released in mid-June.
With the current campaign set to conclude over the next month, the SPFL is already working on plans for next term and has revealed that the schedule for the Premiership, Championship, League One and League Two will be made public on Thursday, June 18.
However, in a break from tradition, the fixtures will be released at noon rather than 9am, which had been the case for many years.

The fixtures will also be released while Scotland at are at the World Cup, with the national team due to face Haiti (June 14), Morocco (June 19) and Brazil (June 24).
The 2026/27 league season commences over the weekend on August 1/2, with the title winners from the previous campaign guaranteed to be at home on opening day to unfurl their flags.
Broadcasters Sky Sports and Premier Sports are likely to scatter the Premiership fixtures across the first matchday for maximum exposure.
The Premier Sports Cup will start a couple of weeks earlier in mid-July, with the first set of group fixtures set to be played across July 12/13 - the same weekend as the World Cup final.
The date for the Premier Sports Cup group-stage draw has yet to be confirmed, but it normally takes place at the end of May.
