Scots arrange Slovenia friendly

The Scottish Football Association have confirmed Craig Levein’s national team will face Slovenia in an away friendly in February.

Scotland will play at a venue to be decided on Wednesday, 29 February in the second of four warm-up games ahead of the World Cup qualifiers. Levein, said: “I’m really pleased to accept the invitation to travel to Slovenia.

“The players are all looking forward to another opportunity to continue building momentum as a group.

“After a positive week, and result, in Cyprus recently, this match is another crucial step in our preparations for the World Cup qualifiers.

“Slovenia will provide a tough test at the right time for us.”
