Rangers line up final Walker and McLean bids
Rangers are expected to lodge final bids for both Hearts winger Jamie Walker and Aberdeen midfielder Kenny McLean. Both players have been on manager Pedro Caixinha’s radar and have been subject of failed bids from the Ibrox club. Caixinha said of his transfer targets: “We know what we want, and together we are going to get it. I won’t mention names, but you seem to know better than myself. You’ve identified we need two more players. We’ll try to have them with us.” (The Sun)
Zidane reckons Ntcham will shine
Real Madrid boss and France legend Zinedine Zidane has backed Olivier Ntcham to flourish at Celtic. The French wonderkid joined the Parkhead club from Manchester City earlier this month and Zidane believes the midfielder will go from strength to strength in Glasgow. He said: “Celtic is the perfect club for him to mature and grow as a player. I am sure he has looked at the season Moussa Dembele had and that is something he wants to replicate.” (Daily Record)
