Rangers ‘won’t fear Celtic tie’ - Nicky Law

Rangers midfielder Nicky Law insists the Ibrox side will be ready for Celtic if the two sides are drawn together in the Scottish Cup.

Celtic easily defeated their arch-rivals in last year’s League Cup semi-finals, though the Ladbrokes Championship side were without a permanent manager at the time and were struggling for form in the second tier.

Celtic fans were right to boo the team - Scott Brown

Celtic captain Scott Brown admits the fans were right to boo the team at both half-time and full-time in last night’s 0-0 draw with Dundee.

The league leaders struggled to create much throughout the game and could have lost it near the end despite facing a Dundee side that left many of its key players out of the starting XI.

Brown agrees that the performance was not good enough and understands the frustrations of the supporters. (The Sun)

Neil Lennon to wait on finding out Bolton future

Bolton manager Neil Lennon will be forced to wait on his future as a consortium led by former striker Dean Holdsworth is poised to take over the club.

Bolton sit second bottom of the Championship, seven points from safety, amid severe financial problems.

Celtic title hopes under threat

Ronny Deila has admitted Celtic will surrender their status as Scottish champions this season unless they improve on the performance levels which saw them drop two more points at home to Dundee last night.

Burt wants to remain at Rangers

Rangers youngster Liam Burt has been linked with a move to Celtic however the player says he has no desire to leave Ibrox.

Burt told a Twitter Q&A session that he only has plans to sign a new contract, rather than move anywhere else.

Perry Kitchen signing boosts Hearts’ bid to overhaul Aberdeen

Hearts will complete the signing of American international Perry Kitchen, though they may have to wait until later this month to secure the deal.

Kitchen has agreed a deal to join the Gorgie Road side, who’ve already secured a work permit for the USA international.

However, Hearts still have a ton of red tape to cut through before the deal can be finalised as they look to keep pressure on Aberdeen in second place. (Scotsman)
