Stubbs hopeful of keeping Cummings

ALAN Stubbs is hopeful of holding onto star striker Jason Cummings amid interest from Nottingham Forest and Bristol City.

But even if Hibs do have to face the prospect of life without the ‘Zing King’, Stubbs said he is ‘very comfortable about it’, adding: ‘If it does come to a situation, he’s worth a lot of money’. (Nottingham Post)

Jags would rather fix pitch than get plastic one

ALAN Archibald has revealed the Firhill pitch is in line for major repair works this summer – but they never considered an artificial surface despite their fixture backlog.

A waterlogged pitch put paid to the visit of Aberdeen last Friday - the fourth Firhill call-off this season.
