Hibs make final offer to Stokes

Hibs have given former striker Anthony Stokes a take-it-or-leave-it offer as they try to tempt the striker back to Easter Road. Stokes was released from his contract at Blackburn Rovers yesterday and has been in talks with Hibs chiefs. The player is looking for an increased offer but last season’s Ladbrokes Championship title-winners insist the latest offer is as far as they’re willing to go. (Scottish Sun)

Caulker likely to join Celtic

Steven Caulker will likely join Celtic on a free transfer from QPR. The West London club are happy to upload the defender on a free transfer, though they may insist on a sell-on clause. Brendan Rodgers is in the market for a centre-back and could be tempted to bring the 25-year-old, who is battling problems with alcohol and gambling addiction, to Celtic Park. (West London Sport)

Whittaker ‘no regrets’ over Rangers exit

Steven Whittaker insist he has ‘no regrets’ over how he left Rangers in 2012 and is looking forward to facing his old club again after joining Hibs.
