King demands answers from Rangers board
Dave King has hit out at the Rangers board, telling them to sue him if they dare. The argument erupted when King was branded a disgrace by the Rangers hierarchy after he urged fans to boycott Rangers merchandise and not to renew their season tickets over what he considered were reneged promises by the board. The South African-based businessman defended his integrity saying that unlike the board his did not come with an “on/off switch” and is now demanding the board answer several key questions on the state of Rangers financial health.(Daily Record)
May celebrates his double as St Johnstone go through
Stevie May is delighted that his brace helped to defeat Aberdeen and that his team have booked their place in the final, after most people had written them off before the game. The striker says the victory was all the sweeter after Aberdeen fans had taunted him from the stands earlier in the season.

Rangers keeper Simonsen leaves twitter after abuse
Steve Simonsen revealed that he is quitting twitter after receiving abuse over his blunder in the Semi final loss to Dundee United on Saturday. The stand in keeper who replaced the injured Cammy Bell in the Rangers goal said:
“I’ve taken the unfortunate decision that, as of 5pm tomorrow, this account will be deleted. I won’t accept mindless abuse of my family and son.” (Daily Mail)
McGinn rues missed chances
Niall McGinn admitted he was partly culpable for Aberdeen’s loss saying wasted chances cost his team the chance for a dream double. The striker says he was blinded by stadium lights as he flashed a header wide in the 72nd minute. McGinn, who scored the opener says he was gutted after his team missed four clear chances including his own, he said: “I should have scored, but we had more chances than that to win the game. The difference was that Saints took theirs.” (Various)
McInnes believes team were unlucky but will now push for Euro spot
Derek McInnes congratulated his former club on reaching the Scottish Final but believes that on another day Aberdeen would have taken their chances and progressed. He now hopes the loss will spur them on, he said:“If losing today helps us finish well in our quest to take our team into Europe, then it’s something.” (Sun)
Henderson wants to follow in Brown’s footsteps
Liam Henderson believed he is on the right road to success thanks to words of wisdom from Celtic skipper Scott Brown. The midfielder, who partners Brown in the middle of the park said: “Scott brown has been great with me, we play the same position and we’re from the same area so it’s great to have someone around like that around. Scott talks me through every game and only encourages me when I make a mistake, which is great when you’re a young player.” (Evening Times)
