Musonda’s brother plays down Celtic move

The brother of Charly Musonda has played down reports linking his brother with a move to Celtic. The Parkhead side were said to be tabling a bid of £4.5million for the Belgian. However, his brother Lamisha wrote on his Instagram account: “Celtic’s interest is flattering but Charly’s a Chelsea player and is focused on Chelsea”. (Daily Record)

Berry to Hibs in jeopardy

Hibs’ move for Cambridge United star Luke Berry could be in jeopardy after it was reported that the two sides failed to agree personal terms. The Easter Road club spoke to the highly-rated midfielder after a fee of £250,000 was agreed for his services. The 24-year-old is also being chased by Millwall, MK Dons and Portsmouth. Moussa Dembele to leave Celtic

Celtic are resigned to selling Moussa Dembele this summer - but will refuse to accept any bid for the player before their Champions League qualifiers are completed. Dembele is being tracked by Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham after a tremendous debut season in Scotland. (Scottish Sun)

Rangers eye George Thomas

Rangers have been named as one of several clubs chasing Coventry City starlet George Thomas. The 20-year-old Welsh youth international, who can play in both midfield and attack, has been attracting interest from the likes of Leicester City, Swansea City, Newcastle United and Derby County. West Brom & Brighton join Armstrong race

West Bromich Albion and Brighton & Hove Albion have been the latest two English Premier League sides credited with an interest in Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong. Southampton were yesterday revealed to be monitoring the player, thought to be worth £10million, who is out of contract at the end of this coming season. (Daily Record)

Hearts trial Polish defender

Hearts will run the rule over Polish defender Bartolmiej Gajda this week, according to reports in his homeland. The 18-year-old is available on a free transfer after his contract with Ekstraklasa side Gornik Zabrze expired last month. (Evening News)

- Hearts target Chris Cadden says he’s happy to continue “living the dream” at Motherwell after a bid by the Tynecastle club was rejected. The Fir Park side believe Hearts have dropped their interest after an initial £100,000 offer was dismissed. (The Herald)

Aberdeen will have to wait until after Preston North End appoint a new manager to learn whether they can sign striker Stevie May. McGinn joins Gwangju

Niall McGinn has completed his move to South Korean side Gwangju FC. The ex-Aberdeen winger agreed to the unusual switch after thoroughly researching the club and Asian football. Once the decision was announced, McGinn took to social media to thank Aberdeen and their fans for the last five years, saying he’d always be an Aberdeen fan for life. (Various)

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has told his players to treat their second leg against Progres Niederkorn like the Europa League final. Caixinha’s squad travelled to Luxembourg for tonight’s first qualifying-round game with a 1-0 lead after European football returned to Ibrox last week following a six-year hiatus. Livingston are hoping to convince veteran goalkeeper Neil Alexander to return to the club. The former Hearts and Rangers stopper is a free agent after leaving Aberdeen, and Livingston boss David Hopkin is hoping to lure the 39-year-old back to Almondvale.
