Roberts to Southampton

Southampton are looking to sign ex-Celtic star Patrick Roberts on a season-long loan. The 20-year-old flew out with the rest of the Manchester City squad for the club’s tour of America and it is thought Pep Guardiola is willing to give him a chance to prove his worth. It City’s boss still isn’t convinced, Southampton may represent a better loan destination than a return to Celtic Park, as the Etihad club can judge his ability to perform in the English Premier League. Caixinha calms for calm

Pedro Caixinha does not believe it is time to panic despite Rangers suffering another defeat in a closed doors match against St Johnstone on Tuesday afternoon.
