King meets Caixinha

Dave King has flown into Scotland for a brief visit in order to meet new Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha. The pair are expected to have dinner this evening, where Caixinha will give his verdict on the team he’s inherited while also mapping out his plans for this summer’s transfer window. (Daily Record)

Zidane backs Dembele

France legend Zinedine Zidane has told Celtic star Moussa Dembele to keep his head up and be patient after the 20-year-old was snubbed by national team boss Didier Deschamps for the upcoming double-header. Many had backed Dembele to earn a place in the squad after his terrific performances this season, and Zidane feels it’s only a matter of time before the striker makes the breakthrough. Aberdeen want Devlin

Aberdeen are poised to make a move for Hamilton Accies defender Mikey Devlin. The 23-year-old has impressed this season despite Hamilton’s toils in the Ladbrokes Premiership, and Derek McInnes is keen to bring the defender to Pittodrie with current centre-back Ash Taylor potentially on the way out. Motherwell and Dundee chase Storey

Another player who could be leaving Aberdeen is striker Miles Storey. The 23-year-old has struggled for regular playing time since making a summer switch from Inverness CT and has attracted attention from Motherwell and Dundee among clubs down south.
