CRYSTAL Palace are ready to tempt Celtic skipper Scott Brown to London with a £5 million offer in January.
Neil Warnock is understood to be a big fan of the ex-Hibs midfielder, and has had him watched several times this season.

Gordon: ‘I’m done with McCoist’
CELTIC No 1 Craig Gordon has hit out at Ally McCoist after the Rangers boss claimed the ex-Hearts ‘keeper hadn’t called the Ibrox club over a possible deal.
Gordon claimed he wasn’t offered a contract by the Championship side during the summer, only for McCoist to insist that he had the option to sign for the Gers.
But Gordon said: “There’s plenty of things that could come out but won’t. If he wants to say anything more it’s up to him. But I’m done with it.”

Macleod ‘may be asked back from Scotland duty’
RANGERS could ask Scotland to release Lewis Macleod from international duty as the Ibrox side seek to catch Hearts in the Championship.
Ally McCoist is keen to have Macleod available for the Gers’ match with Alloa on Saturday - less than 24 hours after the Scots take on the Republic of Ireland.

Scepovic blasts ‘wasteful’ Hoops
STEFAN Scepovic believes Celtic should have already secured Europa League progress - and blasted the Celtic ‘wasters’ after their 1-1 draw away to Astra Giurgiu hampered their chances of joining Salzburg in the knockout stages.
Scepovic said: “[Astra] was a frustrating finish for us because I thought we controlled the entire game on Thursday.
“But we didn’t win it when we had the chances then lost a goal at the end. It’s a lesson for us in Europe.
“We have to kill theseteams off when we have the chance because if we don’t we might not win the game.”
And Scepovic admitted he was finding it tough adapting to life in Scotland but has promised Celtic fans they were still to see the best of him, adding: “I’m convinced the Celtic fans are about to see the best of me, it’s coming.
“A lot of people are talking about John Guidetti but I think we can play together up front. Why not?” (The Sun)

The cheapest tickets for Scotland’s match with the Republic of Ireland, which will take place on the same night, are priced at £35, with a number of the £45 tickets remaining unsold.
The Scottish FA have refused to lower ticket prices for Scotland’s match with group minnows Gibraltar, leading to fears of a fan boycott.
