It is set to be another big night for Scottish football in Europe, on and off the pitch.

Celtic travel to face Serie A league leaders AC Milan knowing they are out of the Europa League but with huge pressure on manager Neil Lennon. Another comprehensive defeat on the continental stage would only strengthen the voice of the growing number of fans who want the Northern Irishman replaced at he helm of the club.

For Rangers, they know a win over Standard Liege at Ibrox will take them into the knockout stages for the second year running. With it comes a financial boost plus the onus to try and go as far as possible in the tournament and help Scotland claim an automatic Champions League spot with competition from Turkey and Ukraine.
