Rangers fans had no complaints over the result – but they weren’t happy with referee Euan Anderson’s late penalty award.

They are however, still pleased that Rangers’ unbeaten league campaign continues after the 1-1 draw against St Johnstone.

@kylelewis722: “Deserved to be honest, St Johnstone played well. At least we managed to mix the team up.”

Mark McMinn: “Fair result! Not anywhere near at the races! Never a penalty but we had the ball and just gave it right back to their keeper to send the ball forward rather than play the simply pass. Probably too many changes made. Wright looked bright though. But there is a few players who just don’t cut it for me on our fringes. We should beat them at Ibrox! Pitch was very bumpy.

Alxndr Vtrll: “Honestly a draw is fair tonight. Still unbeaten. We needed a turn over to finish well this year and have the better chances to win the cup.”

@Declan_1872_: “Unbeaten but that was never a penalty. Simpson done well for his first start.”

@_wotta: “Unbeaten still, plus some good performances from the new players. We wouldn’t have lost there if the three points meant something.”

Ben Thompson: “Didn’t deserve anything more, no intensity really but what can we expect? The league’s over, we don’t want it to happen but it’s only natural to take the foot off the gas a bit. The unbeaten streak continues and that’s what matters at the end of the day!”

Duncan Green: “Disappointed but we never really looked like the team of recent weeks. Still a zero in the loss column, but not for the want of trying. Need to see out the season and put this down to a bad day at the office. Stevie and his players will know today wasn't good enough. Roll on the championship picnic.

Bobby Russell: “SG made seven changes from the cup game so it was always gonna be a tighter match than if we went with full strength team. Be different starting 11 and different game at weekend. The cup game is the big game now.”

@Kingpindazza: “To be fair we really weren't are races tonight. Draw probably a fair result. We go again Sunday!”
