It comes on the back of speculation around Glen Kamara and Connor Goldson with both having fine seasons and the latter having had reported interest from England during the transfer window.
Gerrard said: “I can name probably a dozen players that, in the back of my mind, I am certainly thinking about in terms of extensions and different contracts. I don’t think there is any rush at the moment, there is nobody whose time is running out that we are desperate to chase to put pen-to-paper.
“I think the message to all the players is to win football games and reward the club come the end of the season, and we will certainly look after those individuals.”
With that in mind, we take a look at the 12 players Gerrard could be talking about:

. Leon Balogun - 2021
Has a one-year option on his deal which will surely be taken up by Rangers, the centre-back having formed a formidable partnership with Connor Goldson. Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group
. Steven Davis - 2021
Was excellent against Celtic and showed that even at 35 he has so much to offer. Changing his interpretation of the midfield role has brought new qualities to his game. Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group
. Allan McGregor - 2021
Turns 39 in January but there is little doubt that McGregor has what it takes to continue on playing into his 40s. Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group
