The 28-year-old made his first appearance in almost a month as he replaced Joe Aribo with nine minutes remaining in Thursday’s 1-1 draw.

However, the Ibrox boss doesn’t expect to have influential midfielder Ryan Jack fit in time for the return leg of the Europa League last 16 encounter at Ibrox.

He said: "I'd still say Jack is a doubt at this stage. He'd have to have a real positive four or five days coming up to be available.

"It's great to have Kemar back and a cameo will do him the world of good.

"If we can keep him here and get Jacko as soon we can, with James after that we'll be in real good shape to finish the season as strongly as we can.
