Often there is a fault picked, a contentious decision or debate to be had on social media in the aftermath of a match.

But not today.

Chris Norton: “In a year where goal difference could be so important, brilliant to see the lads get tore in from the first whistle to the last. Chuffed.”

Alistair Mcdougall: “Brilliant performance at the end we had 10 different players from Thursday great strength in depth.”

@10candan: “Last season we would have lost or drew that game going in 4 up at half time. Shows progression.”

Kallen Kerr: “It was only a matter of time before we did that to a team. It ended up being a poor Hamilton side, but take nothing away from the lads there for a fantastic performance. What was most pleasing was that they kept at it right to the end instead of settling for 4-0 or 5-0.”

Colin Morrison: “Somebody was gonni get it. We are becoming a well oiled machine. Doesn’t affect how we play no matter how the gaffer changes personnel. Stevie G is creating a monster here.”

@Shaun_Dunsmore: “That was some laugh cheers lads.”

Cairo Kearney: “Levels don't change even with players dropping out and coming in. It's exciting stuff. Looking forward to Aberdeen in two weeks’ time.”

@DeclanLittle8: “If we pick up where we left off after this international break I will have so much sympathy for all teams we face cause it will be utter demolition.”

James Tavernier took the man of the match award from the match sponsors, but opinion was split over Rangers’ best among the fans.

@darenk23: “Big Jo is very quickly becoming my favourite player to watch, something so special about the boy.”

@Pena_Cartel: “Lovely debut for Bongani Pirlo.”
