Rangers have again expressed their confusion regarding the Scottish FA's disciplinary process following the decision to uphold Kemar Roofe's two-match ban following an appeal, having previously called for consistency. They said: “There seems to be real confusion within the game regarding which incidents are cited and those that are not. This confusion solidifies our viewpoint regarding the current system." Celtic starlet Stephen Welsh faces a nervous wait over an injury sustained in the team's 4-0 win at St Mirren. The centre-back was on the end of a heavy challenge by Jonathan Obika with his foot in a protective boot. Ex-Liverpool star Glen Johnson reckons former team-mate Steven Gerrard could be tempted away from Rangers this summer if there is a “big enough offer". Johnson queried what more can Gerrard do at Ibrox and tipped him to eventually replace Jurgen Klopp. He said: “He’s stopped Celtic getting their tenth win in a row and Rangers have won the league when three or four years ago it looked unlikely, so what more can he do?
