Ross County knocked Neil Lennon’s side out 2-0 at Celtic Park – and the subsequent Rangers win had the boys in blue well and truly delighted.
As well as celebrating Steven Gerrard’s team’s result, a few couldn’t help have a joke at their rivals expense and some now have their eyes firmly on the prize – and more.

Mark McGrath: “Very professional performance and has to be said three of the four goals were absolute world class. Nice to see some of the kids getting a run out. With barker injured and Jones all but gone then hopefully young Middleton can get a bit of a run in the team.”
Bryan Love: “Highlight for me was the boys Dickson, King and wee Middleton looking confident and assured on the ball. None of them looked out of place among the rest of the team. Big Itten is going to be a cracking signing, Bassey has also proven so far to be a quality piece of business by Gerrard.
“Defoe definitely still has it even in his advanced age. Overall the whole squad is pulling together & I can't see the run we're on ending anytime soon.”
Jim Gibson: “Back up players at Ibrox getting good game time. Good result.”
@Predator1986: “Dickson was excellent when he came on.”
@DarrenJames1990: “Well done to everyone and great to see some of the youth players get a chance, onto the next one.”
Eddie Mcpheat: “Don't like slating Rangers players but Hagi won't do. I know he's young but every time he plays the games pass him by.”
@gogs1291: “Yes. Sends Rangers into the 1/4 final and sends Celtic into oblivion.”

@Slamberton1: “It's been a beautiful Sunday.”
