Following another weekend of Scottish Premiership action it is set up to be a busy week on the transfer front. Over the weekend Aberdeen and Livingston made key forward signings, while speculation intensified around Rangers duo Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos.
Like his compatriot across the city at Celtic, Steven Gerrard will also be keen to bring in recruits. The same with Edinburgh bosses Jack Ross and Robbie Neilson at Hibs and Hearts respectively with the latter close to a deal for centre-back following injury to John Souttar.

Scottish Football LIVE - latest news and transfer speculation (24/08/20)
Rangers’ £20m Morelos blow
Rangers won’t get the £20m they want for Alfredo Morelos.
That is the view of pundit and ex-Celtic forward Kris Commons who reckons Lille are now “holding all the aces” in view of a possible move for the Colombian.
Commons wrote in the Daily Mail: "He's contracted at Ibrox until 2023. The longer he sits twiddling his thumbs on the sidelines, the more his value is only going to decrease. They're unlikely to get the bumper £20million-plus they were hoping for. It's now all about cutting their losses and limiting the damage."
Turnbull deal moves closer
Daid Turnbull’s move from Motherwell to Celtic is edging closer.
According to a report, the midfielder has agreed personal terms ahead of a move to Parkhead.
It was reported by the Scottish Sun a £3m deal is on the table.
Rangers eye new forward
Rangers are eyeing up bringing in another forward player, according to a report.
With Leeds United set to return for Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos likely to depart it could see Steven Gerrard re-enter the transfer market to bolster his attacking options.
David Turnbull to Celtic
Celtic face competition from Newcastle United for David Turnbull.
The Scottish Sun report the Scottish champions could seal a £3m deal this week.
The Premier League side and Championship clubs are keen but it is understood Turnbull prefers a move to Celtic.
Morelos’ Rangers future
Alfredo Morelos’ Rangers career is all but over, report the Scottish Sun.
The Ibrox side are keen to offload the striker and will try to re-open talks with Lille over a transfer.
It follows the player being left out of the squad for the match with Kilmarnock on Saturday.
According to the Daily Record, the player “effectively downed tools” in training once he knew he wasn’t going to be starting having previously been taken off at Livingston as the team looked for a goal.
