Bayo nears Celtic exit

Celtic striker Vakoun Bayo is set to sign for Toulouse, according to reports in France.

The 23-year-old is wanted by St Mirren.

He has struggled for game time since joining Celtic from Slovakian side DAC Dunajska Streda.

FM blasts Aberdeen players

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has not held back in her criticism of the eight Aberdeen players whose action have led to the postponement of the Dons game with St Johnstone on Saturday.

Two players have tested positive for Covid-19.

She said: “All eight of these players blatantly broke the rules, which, to put it mildly, is completely unacceptable."

Edouard advised to move to bigger league

Odsonne Edouard has been advised by the French U21 coach to move to a bigger league to fulfil his potential.

Sylvain Rispoll told the Glasgow Times: “He has to keep working to still improve because he has all the capacities to do better and better. Celtic is an historic and very important club, but it is true that a big European championship can help to take him to the next level.”

Lille is increasingly looking like Alfredo Morelos’ next destination.

The Rangers striker was off the boil in the Europa League defeat to Bayer Leverkusen with Steven Gerrard commenting the player has had his head turned by the French side’s interest.

Lille have moved from 2/1 to 6/4 to sign Morelos with the bookies.
