Victor Wanyama wants Celtic return

Former Celtic ace Victor Wanyama wants to play for the club before retiring.

The Kenyan midfielder has been linked with a return in the past 12 months having fallen down the pecking order at Spurs.

Wanyama, who left Celtic for Southampton in 2013, told The Athletic of his desire.

He said: “They need to let you grow and achieve what you want. But I want to play for Celtic again before I finish. I have unfinished business there. I love that club.”

Neil Doncaster's huge SPFL salary

Neil Doncaster, the SPFL chief executive, has faced plenty of criticism in recent days following the organisation's controversial resolution.

Rangers have called on him to be suspended with an independent investigation taking place regarding the governance of the SPFL.

The Herald report Doncaster's yearly salary is £388,000 which includes bonuses.

Carragher makes Edouard and Morelos call

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher picked Odsonne Edouard ahead of Alfredo Morelos.

The Sky Sports pundit was asked on Instagram and opted for the Celtic striker, while stating "Morelos gets sent off too much".

Edouard to Arsenal move set to open up?

Odsonne Edouard has been linked with a switch to Arsenal in recent weeks.

Ex-Celtic and Gunners striker Charlie Nicholas doesn't think the Parkhead ace is ready to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang despite talk of a £40m move.

Yet, the Arsenal striker has remained coy on his future with suggestions that he will not renew his contract which has a year to run on it and may leave in the summer.

SPFL vote may lead to police involvement

Scottish clubs may seek to involve the police into the SPFL's handling of its resolution.

According to the Daily Mail, some teams have grown concerned with the vote to terminate the season and could raise it with authorities.

Rangers have requested an independent investigation into the SPFL's resolution and called for the suspension of cheif executive Neil Doncaster and legal adviser Rod McKenzie.
