Ryan Jack scored a stunning volley to open the scoring against Kilmarnock – beating Colin Doyle in the top corner from more than 20 yards.

A James Tavernier free-kick into the penalty area was not cleared and Leon Balogun’s shot was blocked. The ball ricocheted to the midfielder and he sent a goal of the season contender into the net to open the scoring.

Players celebrated on the pitch and so did the fans watching at home – with some comparing the strike to previous scored by Rangers manager Steven Gerrard in his illustrious career.
