Steven Clarke has been dealt a blow with Grant Hanley and Ryan Fraser dropping out of the squad through injury. Fraser’s injury is especially disappointing for the national team after building an understanding with Lyndon Dykes and John McGinn as a rambunctious front three. Yet, the Scotland boss has a number of options available to him.
On the domestic front, the Betfred Cup continues this week with games on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday as teams look to secure their place in the knock-out stages while other just hope to come through the games unscathed.

3. Watt new deal
Tony Watt has signed a contract extension with Motherwell keeping him at the club until 2022. The former Celtic and Hearts forward joined the Steelmen earlier this year on a short-term deal before extending his deal in the summer. Watt has now been rewarded for some fine form. 4. Levein: I'd be tempted to start Armstrong
