The football keeps coming in Scotland. Two days after Celtic’s progression in the Champions League qualifiers, Aberdeen are in action for the first time since the opening day as they travel to St Johnstone ahead of a full Scottish Premiership fixturecard at the weekend… hopefully.
The top-flight clubs are also keen to do business with plenty of teams busy this week, whether it is recruiting or selling with plenty of strong rumours circling some of the best and most promising players in the country.

1. Shankland interest from France

2. Doncaster in Covid-19 plea to Scottish Government
Neil Doncaster has warned that clubs would “go under” if the Scottish Premiership was stopped for any length of time. The SPFL chief executive has pleaded with Nicola Sturgeon and the Scottish Government not to stop football for any further infringements due to the potential of dire consequences. 3. BBC apologise over Levein comments
The BBC issued an apology to Greenock Morton and Raith Rovers on Wednesday evening’s Sportsound radio programme. It followed accusations made by former Hearts boss on Monday’s show where he claimed the two clubs had complained to the SFA about the Tynecastle side training and gaining an unfair advantage. 4. Rogic set for Celtic exit
