It was another exciting and action-packed weekend in the Scottish Premiership with plenty of goals, controversy and entertainment. The big match came from Easter Road where Hibs and Rangers shared four goals, while Saturday saw Celtic edge past Livingston 3-2.
Derek McInnes was left scratching his head in the Aberdeen dugout after seeing his side go 3-0 down early on against Motherwell. It sets up another week of possible transfer news with some key Scottish stars possibly on the move.

1. Johnson backed to wow Rangers fans
Former England international Kevin Phillips reckons Rangers fans would really take to transfer target Daniel Johnson and his “attitude”. The midfielder is reportedly on the club’s radar after impressing with Preston. Phillips said: ““He has got a bit of everything – aggression, energy, creativity, decent left foot and can score a goal as well.” (Football Insider)

2. Gerrard hits out at Porteous
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard hit out at Hibs centre-back Ryan Porteous. The pair shared words after the 2-2 draw at Easter Road. Gerrard called the defender “cheap” for claiming James Tavernier was a sore loser. (Various)

3. McKenna bid
Scott McKenna could be set to depart Aberdeen. The centre-back was left out of the Dons team for the 3-0 defeat to Motherwell on Sunday after the club received a significant bid from Nottingham Forest for the player. Derek McInnes confirmed there has been interest in the player with the club believed to want £3m upfront. (Daily Record)

4. Edouard rested
Neil Lennon has revealed there has been no bids or concrete interest in striker Odsonne Edouard. The Frenchman was left out of the Celtic team to face Livingston on Saturday sparking speculation, but he was being rested for the Europa League clash with Riga. (Scottish Sun)
