The focus on domestic football took a brief hiatus on Monday as Scotland discovered their qualifying group for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Of course, the country were paired with Israel once more, as well as Denmark, Austria, Faroe Islands and Moldova with qualifiers set to begin in March. On paper there is a realistic chance of topping the group which ensures qualification or second place which will be good enough for a play-off spot.
Domestically, the big news emerged late in the day with Celtic once again backing Neil Lennon much to the annoyance of their fan base.
