Aberdeen put forward their case as the best of the rest as they swept aside Hibs, Celtic’s Mohamed Elyounoussi hit a hat-trick after some bizarre criticism fr being seen on his phone after being substituted on Thursday in the Europa League and then there was Rangers and Hamilton. Steven Gerrard’s men thrashed Accies 8-0 piling pressure on Brian Rice.
But now we start to look ahead and to that mammoth match on Thursday when Scotland travel to Serbia for a place in Euro 2020.

1. Serbia controversy
Two of Serbia’s key players Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Aleksandar Kolarov made a late dash to get back to the Balkan nation after Italian authorities put restrictions in place which meant players from six Serie A clubs aren’t allowed to travel. 2. Elyounoussi's message
Mohamed Elyounoussi sent a message on and off the pitch as he netted a hat-trick in Celtic’s 4-1 win over Motherwell. The on loan forward faced severe criticism for being seen on his phone after being subbed against Sparta Prague. He said: “I read a comment that it was stupid of me – and it was a big misunderstanding. That’s finished, behind me. 3. Cosgrove transfer decision
Sam Cosgrove admitted the rejection of a move to France to join Guingamp was a “big decision” but the right one. 4. Rice speaks to Accies fans
Hamilton fans confronted players and manager Brian Rice on their arrival back from Ibrox after the 8-0 defeat. Rice spoke with irate supporters for over half an hour outside the club’s ground.
