All 12 teams were in action on Wednesday night as Rangers maintained their significant lead at the top ahead of rivals Celtic. Below the Old Firm there is plenty of intrigue with Hibs and Aberdeen swapping places once more in the battle for third.
Below them, wins for Dundee United and Livingston make it just three points between fifth and seventh. Below them the bottom five are separated by five points with all five of Ross County, Hamilton, St Johnstone, Kilmarnock and St Mirren losing. All teams will play twice more before the end of the year.

Steven Gerrard has praised the influence of Ianis Hagi after he starred in Rangers’ 3-0 win over St Johnstone. The £4million summer signing was singled out for his willingness to take risks. Gerrard said: “He doesn't mind making mistakes and we don't mind it, so long as he's trying to do the right thing.” (The Scotsman) Photo: Willie Vass / Scottish Sun - Pool via SNS Group
