It was another successful night for Scottish club in Europe on Thursday with Rangers defeating lech Poznan at Ibrox and Celtic earning a credible draw with Lille in France despite taking a two-goal lead.

The positives results are pushing Scotland up the coefficients and further good nights should see the country gain an automatic spot in next seasons’s Champions League. Attention now turns to this weekend with plenty of league action, plus the Scottish Cup semi finals from earlier in the year.

Hampden Park is set to be an eerie venue for the games between Hearts and Hibs and Celtic and Aberdeen with a place in December’s final at stake.
