Ridvan Yilmaz: Rangers confirm signing of Turkish international 'coveted throughout Europe'


The 21-year-old becomes the Ibrox club’s seventh summer signing after joining for a fee reported to be in the region of £5.5million.
The defender played 33 times for Besiktas across all competitions last season and has six senior caps for his country.

Rangers boss Giovanni Bronckhorst expressed delight to have secured the services of a modern, attacking young full-back with Champions League experience.
“I am really pleased to have added Ridvan to our squad and I believe he will bring a lot of quality to the club," he said.
"I have been really impressed with his development in a really demanding, winning environment at Besiktas over the last few seasons.
“I am looking forward to welcoming him to training in the coming days and to seeing him in action for the first time.
