David McCracken and Lee Miller will lead Falkirk into Betfred Cup action against Steven Gerrard's Rangers

Falkirk host Rangers in the final match of the Betfred Cup last 16 this afternoon – a match immediately followed by the quarter final draw.

Steven Gerrard’s SPFL Premiership league leaders are visiting the lowest ranked team to qualify for the knock-out stages – the League One leading Bairns.

He’s expected to ring the changes for the game on Falkirk’s artificial surface after the midweek Europa League draw with Benfica, and this week’s visit of Standard Liege in the continental competition.

That could mean an unpredictable line-up but David McCracken and Lee Miller’s team has had to cope with two late call-offs from the squad through positive COVID-19 tests, but that aside only have Aidan Keena missing for the big match of the season.
