How the Rangers players rated in 4-1 Premiership win over Dundee United
Dundee United threatened but there was no European hangover after the exertions in Antwerp.
After Allan McGregor kept the home side in it, goals from Ianis Hagi and Ryan Kent sent Steven Gerrard’s side in at the break 2-0 up.
Joe Aribo fired a great strike in the opening stages of the second half to cap an all-round excellent performance and Alfredo Morelos was on the scoresheet too when he benefitted from a Benjamin Siegrist howler.
Borna Barisic missed a penalty as Steven Gerrard cycled the squad but Marc McNulty hit only the second opposition goal at Ibrox in the SPFL this season.
Here is how Rangers players rated this afternoon…

Saves which win matches in the first half with defence more open than usual. Furious to concede late on but proved his worth and ensured Rangers' attacking good work was not undone by a few dangerous Dundee United efforts. Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group

2. Borna Barisic - 7

3. Filip Helander - 6
Dundee United found joy through the middle to force Allan McGregor into three first-half saves and Swede was not as tight as could have been. Replaced by Jack Simpson in second half. Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group

4. Connor Goldson - 7
Steven Gerrard praised his 'mountain' at the back pre-match - but like Helander could have done more to tighten up the middle in the first half. Could have been tighter to McNulty for the consolation late on. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group
