Rangers starlet set for new deal and transfer, bid for Old Firm target, Barcelona compete with Celtic for star, Sunderland want Hibs ace, £7.2m for Parkhead defender – Scottish Premiership Rumour Mill

The Scottish January transfer window is well and truly open for business.

Livingston completed the signing of Gavin Reilly on Tuesday afternoon following his release from Carlisle United, with manager David Martindale admitting they had tracked the former St Mirren and Hearts forward for a couple of seasons.

Hibs are on the verge of signing Chris Cadden from Columbus Crew in MLS, Kilmarnock striker Eamonn Brophy has been linked with a switch to St Mirren and Aberdeen are keen on former winger Gary Mackay-Steven.

It suggests that Celtic, who have been defending their decision to take a mid-season trip to Dubai, and Rangers won’t be the only teams doing business this month and that the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic is doing little to dissuade teams from freshening up their squads, which will including moving players on.
