The window is now closed until the summer, although clubs below the Premiership can still make loan signings. There is also the free agent market clubs can utilise if required.

Here is all the pertinent news from around the SPFL on Tuesday:

Rangers completed a late double signing, securing the early services of Aberdeen ace Scott Wright and Bournemouth defender Jack Simpson. Both players had already agree pre-contract agreements. The deal for the former saw Ross McCrorie complete a permanent switch to Aberdeen.

Aberdeen completely changed their attack. Curtis Main – to Shrewsbury Town – and the aforementioned Scott Wright joined Sam Cosgrove in leaving the club. Derek McInnes freshened the side with the triple signing of Scotland U21 ace Fraser Hornby, St Johnstone’s Callum Hendry and, perhaps most interestingly, ex-Hibs and Rangers forward Florian Kamberi.

Neil Lennon has dismissed any notion of walking away from the Celtic job. The Northern Irishman was asked if he would follow Peter Lawwell in leaving the club at the end of the season. He said: “Peter’s decision has nothing to do with my position at all.” (Various)

Hibs ace Kevin Nisbet “isn't happy” with the way he was denied the chance of a move to the English Championship. Birmingham City were keen on the forward but the Easter Road side rejected offers for the player. His wages would have increased to £10,000-a-week with the move. (Daily Record)

Rangers first-team duo Brandon Barker and George Edmundson left the club on loan. The former joined League One side Oxford United and the latter made he move to Derby County. Both have been out of favour this campaign.

Motherwell completed the surprise loan signing of Hearts winger Jordan Roberts. The Englishman had fallen down the pecking order at Tynecastle. He was joined at Fir Park by defender Eddie Nolan. The contracts of defenders Stephen O’Donnell and Charles Dunne were extended, while Robbie Crawford completed a permanent move from Livingston.

Hearts boss Robbie Neilson secured two of three targets with the signing of a winger and midfielder. Gervane Kastaneer joined on loan from Coventry City, while Aaron McEneff made the move from Shamrock Rovers for a six-figure fee. (Evening News)

Hamilton Accies secured the services of Aberdeen's Bruce Anderson for the remainder of the season. With injuries and the departures of Tunde Owolabi and Justin Johnson, the striker adds to Brian Rice’s attack.

St Johnstone have added former Scotland youth international Charlie Gilmour. The defensive midfielder, once at Arsenal, was a free agent.
